About

Dr. Charlanne Gasper, DC, CCN

Dr. Gasper spent her early years as a gymnast practicing and competing in Southern California. She was passionate about gymnastics, and from that grew the discipline that she has used throughout her life. That determination was utilized in college where she attended California State University, Fullerton, before embarking on her chiropractic career at Parker College of Chiropractic.

Graduating as a Doctor of Chiropractic in May of 1999, Dr. Gasper's first practice opened on Long Island, NY. Here she addressed health concerns of patients using chiropractic treatments, nutrition and soft tissue work. Wanting more for her patients, she received her Therapeutic Lifestyle Educator Certification in March of 2006. Through this, Dr. Gasper has excelled at working with her patients on how to improve their relationship with food and teaching them how to incorporate healthy eating into a busy life.

After 10 years in New York, Dr. Gasper made the decision to move back to California, and share her knowledge and experience in the sunny lands of Orange county. During this time, she started up her own practice, Gasper Chiropractic. Her knowledge and passion for nutrition expanded exponentially, leading to her distinguished achievement of becoming a Certified Clinical Nutritionist, in 2014 (www.IAACN.org). Dr. Gasper also continues to work towards her Functional Medicine Certification through the Institute for Functional Medicine.

Dr. Gasper met Dr. Phillips at the annual CCN Symposium in 2015 and they realized that they had strikingly similar philosophies towards their patient care. Soon thereafter, she began her study of Applied Kinesiology (AK), becoming a Certified Applied Kinesiologist in July 2016 (by the International College of Applied Kinesiology (www.ICAK.org). Dr. Gasper has now fully incorporated AK into her treatment protocol. Also in 2016, Dr. Gasper became a part of Dr. Phillips practice – Arlington Natural Health Center, and in November of 2017, together they opened DFW Holistic Health. There they have combined their efforts to serve patients with a goal of optimal wellness.

Dr. Gasper achieves her own optimal wellness with a variety of activities, including yoga, resistance training, bowling and snow skiing. She loves to cook and find ways to encourage patients to increase their wellness through food!
