Applied Kinesiology
Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a diagnostic tool using manual muscle testing to evaluate your unique state of health. AK has also been called "Functional Neurology" and allows practitioners to correlate findings with other standard diagnostic testing. The International College of Applied Kinesiology (ICAK) is the original professional organization that is responsible for the education, standards and certification of the global community of Applied Kinesiology practitioners.

There are so many types of holistic treatments out there, such as, chiropractic adjustments, various myofascial therapies, cranial techniques, acupressure or meridian therapies, clinical nutrition, dietary management, as well as evaluating environmental irritants and various reflex procedures. Applied kinesiology is a way the doctor (trained in the different treatment modalities) can "ask the body questions" to help determine what type of therapy to apply, as well as when and where. AK evaluates the structural, chemical and emotional aspects of health.
